Media

Mission:  To glorify the Lord and enhance the worship experience through media and multi-media.

Duties:  Audio Engineer – The audio engineer mixes the sound for the event.  Audio engineers are also necessary for some rehearsals.  This provides a good opportunity to hone their skills and get comfortable with the sound system.

Prompter – This person is an integral part of leading worship, as they control the lyrics on the screen.   If you are interested in getting involved in the Media Ministry but feel intimidated by your lack of technical experience, this is a good way to get plugged in.

Video Switcher – Have you ever wondered what it’s like to run live video for an event?  If so, then this is the position for you.  Tabernacle does not broadcast on television, but it may be something of interest in the future.  You can learn at your own pace and get the chance to see what it’s like to work behind the scenes in live video production.

Camera Operators ( Remote & Robotic) – The center camera position is vital in providing overflow feeds and web casting.  Connected with the entire media crew via headset, you will work and communicate with the video switcher to get your camera shots.

Pulpit Crew – This is a great position for those who want to get their feet wet in the Media Ministry.  This is also a great place for those younger members of the media team to start.  Responsibilities include moving stands, deliberant mics and moving props on and off stage during productions.
